Paris Vogue: Mon Obsession!

While I'm sitting here sipping coffee and typing whilst flicking through Paris Vogue, I am instantly falling in love with all the adds and the photography. (not to mention the fashion) One of my friends has just recently returned from France with a much appreciated magazine and many other gifts.
With fashion on my mind I think it is an appropriate time to talk about the beautiful lables and designers that have caught my attention, starting with Prada.

Prada: my first website I go to to look for handbags of the season. I absolutly love their handbags! briefcase style or tote I just adore them.

Chanel is just beautiful and classic, the way I like it. At the moment I love their tailored jackets not to mention their perfume.

Giorgio Armani! Now we're talking, jeweled dresses and clutches, gloves, satin, all you need is the right attitude to pull it all off and you'll be the one everyones eyes are upon at that upcoming event! He is a God!

Bottega Veneta Have gorgeous bags, trenches, and light charcoal coloured dresses. I have only just discovered this lable and have simply fallen head over heels for it!

P.S Please bare in mind these photos do not belong to me they are the advertisment campaign photos from Prada and Bottega Veneta

Inspired!!!

It's been a while since my last post and a lot has happened. First of all I completed my garment for the Apex Australia Teenage Fashion Awards about a day before the show! I was almost about to give up because the ridiculous zip wouldn't go in properly, but after much determination I was satisfied with it! I hardly thought about even winning this year because I thought I did such a tacky job and other designers in my opinion had much better creations; anyway you wouldn't believe it but I won the casual/everyday wear section in Tasmania for 2009 and will be competing in Sydney in October!!! I'm so excited it will be my first time in Sydney!!! There is so much I want to do there!
I have also completed work experience for a whole week at the North West Burnie Private Hospital. It was rather boring considering I am not qualified to do anything except make beds and clean up after the patients but it was worth it ;)

Anyway I thought I'd leave you with an amazing quote I found and a pretty picture!
enjoy =)

"Choose life. Choose a job. Choose a career. Choose a family. Choose a fucking big television, Choose washing machines, cars, compact disc players, and electrical tin openers. Choose good health, low cholesterol and dental insurance. Choose fixed-interest mortgage repayments. Choose a starter home. Choose your friends. Choose leisure wear and matching luggage. Choose a three piece suite on hire purchase in a range of fucking fabrics. Choose DIY and wondering who the fuck you are on a Sunday morning. Choose sitting on that couch watching mind-numbing spirit-crushing game shows, stuffing fucking junk food into your mouth. Choose rotting away at the end of it all, pissing your last in a miserable home, nothing more than an embarrassment to the selfish, fucked-up brats you have spawned to replace yourself. Choose your future. Choose life . . . But why would I want to do a thing like that? I chose not to choose life: I chose something else. And the reasons? There are no reasons." - Irvine Welsh.
